Alcuin Montessori School Board of Trustees
Alcuin Montessori School is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that is overseen by a Board of Trustees. The Trustees help to ensure the financial stability and long-term sustainability of the school. While they are not directly involved in the operations of the school, they are charged with searching and retaining an Executive Director who effectively implements the school's mission.
The Board at Alcuin consists of community members who have experience and expertise in business legalities, marketing, development, finance, and education. The Board meets once per month (generally the third Wednesday of each month) to work toward accomplishing goals outlined in the school’s strategic plan. The committees meet as frequently as needed to assess and determine what their roles are in accomplishing yearly strategic goals.
