Both camps will offer early drop off starting at 8:30 a.m.  Visit the Summer Camp page for complete details.
"Why Montessori for Middle School?" - Tuesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m.
It is the education of adolescents that is important, because adolescence is the time when the child enters in the state of adulthood and becomes a member of society.” — Maria Montessori

Come and join Ms. Roxy, Mr. Pete, and Ms. Rita at the Gale House (124 Kenilworth) to learn about the
Alcuin middle school program and why it is such an important part in your child’s transition into young adulthood. Learn about the curriculum, the program components, the microeconomy, travel, “Beyond the Classroom Walls”, transition into high school and so much more. RSVP to Ms. Roxy at rkrawczyk@alcuin.org to attend this informative and important event.
Financial Assistance at Alcuin
As we begin the enrollment process for the ‘15-‘16 school year, please keep in mind the financial aid deadlines. They are as follows:

Alcuin families with students re-enrolling: The online submission deadline for all applications is February 17, 2015. Your tax return must follow the submission, and must be postmarked by February 24, 2015.  Please note, that after February 17th, we will open up enrollment to new families.

New Alcuin Families: Deadline is April 15, 2015. Once both deadlines have passed, families may still apply for aid with the understanding that financial aid offers may not be extended by the time enrollment contracts are due.

To apply for financial aid, please visit the FAST Web site and apply online.

Parent/Infant on Fridays with Jamie Sloan
Join us for Parent/Infant at Alcuin Montessori. Our Parent/Infant class gives parents the opportunity to observe and interact with their child in a rich Montessori environment in which both parent and child can explore, discover and learn.  Grandparents and caregivers are welcome to attend in the place of parents.

In Parent/Infant, all children can:
  • explore and develop social skills
  • work on concentration and coordination
  • feel a sense of belonging to a group.
Ms. Jamie will provide helpful guidance and discussions on child development and how to incorporate the Montessori philosophy into the home.

To register for this class, or for more information, please contact our office 708.366.1882.
