Alcuin Montessori School Appointment Information

For Primary Interviews
All Primary interviews are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise specified. The interviews are held at the Main Campus located at 324 N Oak Park Avenue, on the corner of Oak Park and Superior.  Please enter on the Oak Park side, walk up the walkway adjacent to the playground and ring the Alcuin doorbell.  

The interviews take about 30 minutes in the classroom with one of our teachers while class is in session.  While your child is in the classroom, you will receive a tour of the school and meet with a member of the admin team.

For Junior and Senior Elementary Shadow Days
All shadow days take place at our Main Campus located at 324 N Oak Park Avenue, on the corner of Oak Park and Superior.  Please enter on the Oak Park side, walk up the walkway adjacent to the playground and ring the Alcuin doorbell.  The shadow day will begin at 8:45 a.m. and pick up is at 3:00 p.m.  Have your child bring a nut-free lunch, a refillable water bottle, a pair of comfortable inside shoes (not slippers) that can be changed into and worn in the classroom.  The class will most likely be going outside, so be sure weather-appropriate clothes are worn. 

We will need a copy of your child's transcripts prior to their visit.  At this stage in the admission process, unofficial transcripts (a copy of the latest report card and testing scores) will suffice.

For Junior and Senior Elementary Redwood @ Alcuin Shadow Days
Our Redwood classroom is located at the Roosevelt Campus on 6942 W Roosevelt Road. The day will start at 8:15 a.m., then at 12:15 p.m., the children will board the Alcuin bus and transfer over to our Main Campus located at 324 N Oak Park Avenue where they will spend the rest of the day with their Alcuin classroom. Pick up from the Main Campus will be at 3:30 p.m. 

Have your child bring a nut-free lunch, and a refillable water bottle.  The class will most likely be going outside, so be sure weather-appropriate clothes are worn.  For drop off at Roosevelt, feel free to park in the small lot behind the school and ring the doorbell.  For pick-up at Main, street parking is available, watch parking signs for any restrictions. Enter on the Oak Park side, walk up the walkway adjacent to the playground and ring the Alcuin doorbell.

For Middle School Shadow Days
Our Middle School is located at the Roosevelt Campus on 6942 W Roosevelt Road.
