Alcuin Montessori Fun Walk '26
Alcuin Community! We've heard your feedback for more all-family events, and are thrilled to launch our all-family Fun Walk! Lace up your gym shoes and let’s walk together to support the Alcuin Annual Fund in this entertaining morning for the entire family. We're putting the fun back in fundraising!
Fun and fundraising merge as you join your classroom team, compete against others, and raise funds for Alcuin’s fantastic student programs. Tuition and fees only cover about 80% of the actual cost of a student’s education in an independent school. This is the case at Alcuin as tuition alone does not provide the revenue needed to offer the excellence in Montessori education that is an Alcuin tradition. Annual giving is the single most important source of non-tuition income for us.
The event will have two components: an awesome popcorn fundraiser with Double Good and a lively family walk at Lindberg Park on May 2. Both events offer participants an easy way to raise funds for Alcuin. Participating in both the Fun Walk and the Double Good popcorn fundraiser increases your impact. Twice the impact, twice the fun! We're walking to a brighter future, and we're walking together. Let's go, Rolling Rocks!

What will the event be like?
We promise a morning of fun. Rain or shine, we'll meet at 8:00 a.m. We'll walk from 8:30-9:30 a.m. around Lindberg Park's walking trail, and show that we Rocks can roll! Do the walk or partake in our selection of lawn games. After, we'll meet together for a morning picnic. Bring a blanket and some snacks, and we're good to go.
How do we participate in the walk?
Set up your team and campaign through Zeffy, share it with family and friends, and let the donations begin! Visit the walk page for complete details. Walking feet, strollers, and wheelchairs only for safety's sake.
What does the popcorn fundraiser entail?
From Monday, April 27 @ 5:00 p.m. through Friday May 1 @ 5:00 p.m., a popcorn fundraiser will be running with Double Good. Visit the popcorn page for complete details.
Participating in both the Fun Walk and the Double Good popcorn fundraiser increases your impact. Twice the impact, twice the fun!
